Lose Belly Fat With these Simple Changes To Your Diet

We cannot look at belly fat with out first looking at obesity since the two often go hand in hand,


If you find you have a lean body but you are storing belly fat than you will most probably find you are making poor diet choices and will benefit from a cleanse.


Here are some facts and figures to get you thinking if you are carrying too much weight.

Obesity affects over 30% of the US population and well over a quarter of a million people die form the complications that arise from being over weight.

When you are over weight you heart has to work harder to carry blood around your system.



Consider that your heart is not much larger than your fist this little organ has to pump pints of blood around your body everyday. Excess fat around your organs just makes it harder for everything to work. Obesity and belly fat are linked to many illnesses like cardiac failure, kidney failure, breathing difficulties, sleep apnea, and a general vulnerability to diseases because of a depressed immune system. When you carry extra fat in your belly you are also prone to parasites and yeasts. Other health difficulties you may encounter are acute fatigue syndrome and depression.



.Diet is key to winning the battle against belly fat, coupled with exercise you will win the battle and gain your flat firm abs.



In order to start on your journey you will have to implement all the tools available to you. And there are many available on the net at the local library and there are many free gyms. But the best thing is get your self educated. Learn about the various types of diets and foods and what they do.



When grocery shopping, be vigilant as to what you purchase. This involves reading the package details of the items you are buying to make sure that the calorie level is acceptable. Make sure that the main ingredients are not sugar as you will be filling your body with empty calories. Do not shop when you are hungry. Many people do not take this crucial precaution and purchase food based on appetite and craving. This results in foods that have a high calorie level ending up in the pantry and finally in the dinner table.



Cut down on red meats and if you do indulge make sure they are grass fed. Increase your intake of green leafy vegetables. You are avoiding the chemicals and antibiotics given to animals which will eventually end up in you. Red meats have trans fats which are difficult for the body to assimilate and end up on your belly and arteries. Eat good quality proteins and have turkey and chicken without the skin.



Another step that helps is to exercise. Do not be thrown off by the discipline involved in starting an exercise regime. Enroll at a gym or hire a personal fitness expert, get yourself a fitness buddy someone who you are accountable to and they are accountable to you, who has a weight loss goal like yourself so you can be support an encouragement for each other.

Don’t let the idea of exercise be a deterrent you can start with simple exercise which can be done by jogging or walking around the neighborhood.

If you suffer from joint problem the the get into the habit of walking short distances rather than driving. As you build up your strength and ability you will be able to walk further each time., working off fat and building muscle including your heart.



Although this is difficult when you have the damands of job and family,  try not to eat 3 hours before going to bed. Late night eating specially if your are tucking into a large evening meal, has been known to layer on the belly fat. You do need to give your digestive system at least that amount of time to digest your food or you run the risk of storing that meal around your waist.

Good bed time snacks are a banana a few almonds, in fact light protein snacks will aid sleep.



You can also lose belly fat by getting as much information as possible. They say knowledge

is power and without knowledge, many fall off the edge. Arming yourself with knowledge involves

simply taking the initiative to learn about the reasons why belly fat accumulates in the body

and also joining online forums where people who are afflicted by the same condition discuss

issues of importance. And of course it is another great way for you to get support form others who are in the same situation as yourself.



Lastly do not look at this as a diet , more of a lifestyle change . The problem with diets is that at some time you will have to stop, they are not a sustainable way of eating or living, whereas adapting these methods changing old patterns of behaviour you will be looking at your last diet ever!
